How billing works

Pay-as-you-go on a prepaid credit balance.

No fixed monthly invoice. You keep a prepaid credit balance, and each active employee is charged at the edition rate, prorated for the active period in the billing month. You only pay for the headcount you actually run.

1. Top up your account

Add credit to your wallet, from a minimum of AED 100 per top-up. UAE VAT of 5% is added at top-up.

2. Monthly rate is prorated

Active employees are charged at the selected edition rate, prorated for the days they are active in that billing month. Lite Starter includes 10 employees, 3 users, 3 companies, and AED 100 credits monthly for the first 3 months.

3. Balance deducts automatically

Prorated usage is drawn from your prepaid balance, VAT-exclusive. No surprise end-of-month invoice.

4. Stay topped up

Low-balance alerts at AED 100 and optional auto-top-up. If you hit zero, a 5-day grace period keeps you running before the workspace goes read-only.

Your data is never deleted while suspended, top up to restore full access. Choose annual billing above to save on prorated usage. Need post-paid or invoice-based billing? That is available on Enterprise.

What does 'per employee' mean?
Paid Lite employee rates are loaded from the active edition. Lite Starter includes 10 employees, 3 users, 3 companies, and AED 100 Service credits monthly for the first 3 months.
How does billing actually work, is it a monthly invoice?
StimesERP Lite is pay-as-you-go on a prepaid credit balance, not a fixed monthly invoice. You top up your account with credit (minimum AED 100 per top-up, plus 5% VAT in the UAE), and active employee usage is charged at the edition rate, prorated for the active period in that billing month. The prorated usage is deducted from your prepaid balance, so you only pay for the headcount you actually run.
What happens if my credit balance runs low or runs out?
You get a low-balance alert when your balance falls to AED 100, and you can enable optional auto-top-up so it never interrupts work. If the balance reaches zero, a 5-day grace period keeps the workspace fully usable. After the grace period the workspace switches to read-only until you top up again, your data is never deleted.
Is VAT charged, and what is the minimum top-up?
Credit top-ups have a minimum of AED 100, with 5% UAE VAT added at top-up. VAT is recorded on the purchase only; prorated usage is deducted from your balance VAT-exclusive.
Is there a setup fee?
Standard onboarding for Lite Starter and Lite Growth is included. Lite Pro and migrations from legacy HR systems may carry a one-time implementation fee, quoted upfront.
Which countries can I run payroll for?
Out of the box: UAE (WPS), Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Oman, Bahrain, Kuwait and India. Other countries can be configured on Lite Pro and Enterprise.
Can I switch plans later?
Yes, you can move between Lite Starter, Lite Growth and Lite Pro at any time. Moving to StimesERP Enterprise is also supported, with a managed migration.
Where is my data hosted?
StimesERP Lite is multi-tenant with an isolated database per tenant, hosted in regional cloud infrastructure. Data residency and dedicated regions are available on Enterprise.
